A successful and rapidly growing RIA firm is seeking to hire a New Business Specialist for their office in Westbrook, CT. This individual will be part of the operations team supporting financial advisors in wealth management and their clients. Must have 3+ years of experience processing new business paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients and prepare paperwork as directed
  • submit applications to carrier
  • Follow up on pending transfers
  • Communicate with clients regarding activity of their accounts
  • Provide assistance to the Client Service Representative as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience processing paperwork for financial advisors
  • Computer Skills: MS Office (excel spreadsheets)
  • Quickbooks
  • Strong organizational skills
  • A high level of integrity
  • Familiarity with financial products such as life and annuities
  • Minimum two-year college degree (four-year preferred) in business, finance or other related fields
