Client Service Representative
The Client Service Associate provides analytical, administrative, and client service support to financial advisors in a fast-paced wealth management environment. This role is responsible for assisting with financial planning preparation, client account servicing, and ongoing relationship management.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and comfortable working with financial planning software, investment platforms, and CRM systems. This position plays a key role in delivering a high-quality client experience while supporting advisors in the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning Support
- Assist advisors in preparing financial plans, investment proposals, and client review materials.
- Gather and organize client financial information including assets, liabilities, income, insurance, and estate documents.
- Prepare planning scenarios and illustrations using financial planning software.
- Conduct investment research and portfolio analysis.
- Assist in preparing retirement projections, income strategies, and asset allocation models.
Client Service & Relationship Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests.
- Respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain client records and documentation in CRM systems.
- Assist with scheduling client meetings and preparing meeting agendas and follow-up documentation.
- Support advisors in maintaining strong client relationships through proactive service and communication.
Account Administration
· Coordinate account openings, transfers, and beneficiary updates.
- Monitor application status and follow up with custodians, insurance carriers, and product providers.
- Ensure paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant prior to submission.
- Track pending business and provide updates to advisors and clients.
Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate client files and documentation in accordance with compliance requirements.
- Assist with account maintenance requests such as distributions, transfers, and beneficiary changes.
- Support internal compliance procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with operational projects and process improvements.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services or wealth management industry preferred.
- Experience supporting financial advisors or financial planners is strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills
Experience with financial industry technology is preferred, including:

- Financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro, eMoney, RightCapital, etc.)
- Portfolio analysis tools (Kwanti, Morningstar, etc.)
- Custodial platforms (Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
