A successful and rapidly growing RIA firm is seeking to hire a New Business Specialist for their office in Westbrook, CT. This individual will be part of the operations team supporting financial advisors in wealth management and their clients. Must have 3+ years of experience processing new business paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients and prepare paperwork as directed
- submit applications to carrier
- Follow up on pending transfers
- Communicate with clients regarding activity of their accounts
- Provide assistance to the Client Service Representative as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience processing paperwork for financial advisors
- Computer Skills: MS Office (excel spreadsheets)
- Quickbooks
- Strong organizational skills
- A high level of integrity
- Familiarity with financial products such as life and annuities
- Minimum two-year college degree (four-year preferred) in business, finance or other related fields
